Legislative Monitoring
Every day we check draft acts and regulations that may affect your industry. We don't let new taxes or technical requirements surprise us. You receive from us a short summary: what is changing and what you must do. No legal jargon, just facts relevant to your company's budget.
Why is it worth knowing about changes earlier?
In October 2024 alone, 37 draft acts passed through parliamentary committees that actually affect the costs of running a business in Poland. Most entrepreneurs find out about new law when the accountant sends a higher bill or the office knocks on the door with an inspection. We act differently. We browse official journals and Government Legislation Center databases every day at 8:45 AM. We look for specifics: new environmental fees, excise duty changes, or additional reporting obligations for companies employing more than 12 people.
To be honest, most official letters are written so that no one understands them. We extract the essence from them. If a new directive on packaging enters, we don't send you 84 pages of legal text. You get three points on one A4 page from us: what is changing, how much it will cost your company, and by when you have time to implement it. We speak plainly whether a given provision is just a scarecrow or a real threat to your financial liquidity in the next quarter.
In our work in Gdańsk, we focus on sectors that the administration likes to control most often – from transport to small production. In the last half year, we caught 19 errors in local regulation interpretations that could have cost our clients a total of over PLN 42,300. Arguments instead of emotions is our principle. When an official sees that you know a draft act that will come into force in 4 months, the conversation immediately becomes more specific.
Every Tuesday we send a shortened bulletin to our 47 regular clients. (By the way, one of them, thanks to this information, avoided a penalty for a late BDO notification because he managed to submit the application 2 days before the deadline). This is not another legal newspaper that no one reads. It is a work tool for a business owner who has a 9-hour working day and does not want to spend evenings checking government websites.
- Monitoring of specific keywords associated with your industry code.
- Alerts about public consultations in which you can speak as a party.
- Analysis of financial consequences of new regulations for your operational budget.
- Clear instructions: what to sign, what to send, and who to inform in the company.
Without bureaucratic newspeak and unnecessary fluff. We focus on you being able to plan investments for 2025 calmly. We build bridges, not walls, so our reports often serve clients as a basis for talks with banks or investors, showing that the company has its finger on the regulatory pulse.
